Most players will tell you to run instances because you get higher experience from elites. The main benefit of doing instances while you are leveling is for the buy wow gold. But to be honest by the time you finish the instance you could have completed a few quests and received the same amount of experience or better. Blizzard has made it so much easier and faster to level thru questing that running instances is actually slower in most cases.
The world of warcraft as you know it is a great game with millions of players out there. Ask any player who is really into this game and they would tell you they want to know how to make gold. Some people even go as far as buying wow gold.
